BonBon in Bombo

overcoming barriers to food and income security in rural Tanzania

About Me

I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to Greenwich, Connecticut at age six and have lived there since. I graduated from Columbia University in the spring of 2014 with a major in Sustainable Development and a concentration in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, fostering my passion and interest in international development work. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, doing cross fit, and practicing yoga. An adventurer and traveler at heart, I love exploring new places and cultures. I look forward to spending the next year in Tanzania learning from the Bombo Majimoto community! It's all one big balancing act
